At the Learning Ladder Early Learning Preschool and Child Care children are encouraged to grow, learn, and discover using Creative Curriculum. Creative Curriculum supports learning through play-based centers that meet state standards.

This program can accomodate children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Care is offered 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Our child care is a registered Ministry and are rated is a Paths to QUALITY Level 3 facility.
At the Y, we do not turn away anyone because of their inability to pay. We also have a belief that high quality early education should be accessible to all children in our community. That is why we have several avenues families can pursue for financial assistance to help offset the cost of childcare.
The Open Door Grant is the Clinton County Family YMCA’s financial assistance program that helps families obtain affordable memberships and childcare. When this opportunity is utilized for childcare we do require that you apply for CCDF or On My Way Pre K within 30 days to best utilize Y resources.
The Child Care and Development Fund is a federal program that helps low-income families obtain child care so that they may work, attend training or continue their education. The purpose of CCDF is to increase the availability, affordability and quality of child care.

On My Way Pre-K awards grants to 4 year olds from low-income families so that they may have access to a high-quality pre-K program the year before they begin kindergarten. Families who receive a grant may use the grant at any approved On My Way Pre-K program.
