When you take a swim lesson at the YMCA, you come away with more than the ability to swim. You come away with how character development, water safety, and fun are all part of your water experience. Clinton County Family YMCA members can begin to learn to swim at any age. Classes are formatted to meet the needs of the participants, and will help in developing a love for swimming.
No matter who you are or what neighborhood you grow up in, the Y is a place for anyone who needs us. In Clinton County, we are working to combat childhood obesity, build confidence, and show children what they can achieve by their participation in youth sports. Aspire at the Y is a partnership between the Clinton County Family YMCA and the Center Township Trustees Office to provide complimentary youth sports and swim lessons to children who reside in Center Township. Proof of residency through and ID or a piece of mail is required.
Swim Lessons are $30 for Members and $60 for Non Members if you reside outside of Center Township.
Preschool (3-5 y/o)
*2-3 year olds are welcome in this class with a parent
Monday: 5:15 - 5:45 PM 3-5 year olds
Thursday: 5:15-5:45 PM 3-5 year olds
Saturday: 9-9:30 AM 3-5 year olds
AGES 6 & UP
Monday: 5:45-6:25 PM Ages 6 & Up
Thursday: 5:45-6:25 PM Ages 6 & Up
Saturday: Beginners Class 9:30 AM - 10 AM
Intermediate/Advanced Class: 10 AM - 10:30 AM
Private Swim Lessons are dependant upon instructor availbilty, if interested please let the front desk know so we can prove instructors with your information. Lesson rates are $40 for members and $80 for non-members.
